marine warnings abound on the potomac river and chesapeake bay in the wake of a month's worth of rain fall...i think its all clear tomorrow.

three old dogs on new year's day

new year's day has gone to the dogs.
this year has started with cold-but nice-weather.
i should have put the boat in,
because today is crazy-cold with 40+nph winds.

clearing skies

yet another stormy weekend...clouding up the water: the fish remained hidden...and it gets dark so early these days! looks like its clearing up for the work week, though: figures.

extreme kayaking in the chesapeake bay

as i reported earlier, this past weekend was too windy and rough for fishing...or boating, so i thought! those crazy kayak guys are at it again!

stormy skies

it rained really hard this weekend, and the wind continued to blow resulting in muddy water and white caps equalling no fish. i put the boat and trailer in the shop for a few days. a random torential downpour popped up west of smith island.
