when i was a kid, my two biggest fears were quicksand and piranhas: if i accidently fell into quicksand, i risked being smothered and eaten by a boa constrictor...piranhas could eat me alive, leaving only my skeleton to surface on the beach. and see, i was right: at least about the piranhas!
